VLLV Pesaro, which currently shares the top spot in Serie A2 with Brindisi (which has to make up a game) and Verona, will have to do without Lorenzo Bucarelli, who was forced to stop by a physical problem, in Sunday’s scheduled home game against Cento. The club itself explained the nature of the forfeit in a note released Saturday.

“Victoria Libertas Pallacanestro Pesaro announces that Lorenzo Bucarelli will not be available for the home match of the 17th day of Serie A2 scheduled for Sunday at 6 p.m. against Sella Cento– the note reads.

In the match played in Brindisi, the red and white captain suffered a muscle injury to his left calf, with elongation of the muscle fibers of the lateral twin, without injury”.

The’absence should be relatively short, in any case: “As defined by the medical staff in agreement with the technical staff– explains the club -, he will skip tomorrow&#8217s game to continue with differentiated work and therapies already undertaken, in order to return to the group next week in preparation for the home game against Rieti”.

From the schedule, the game between Pesaro and Rieti is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Sunday 21 and will be the penultimate game of the calendar year for the red-and-whites, who the following weekend, Sunday 28, also at 6 p.m., will face Verona in the top challenge at the home of the Verona club.
