Africa Cup of Nations 2025: Morocco-Comoros, likely lineups
The African Cup of Nations 2025 gets underway: the first match is Morocco-Comoros, a match valid for the first day of Group A of the continental competition. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat, following the opening ceremony. The hosts, who are aiming to win the tournament, are placed in a group that also includes Mali and Zambia, and they want to get off to a strong start right away against the group’s weakest opponent on paper.
Morocco will initially be unable to count on leader Hakimi, who was summoned but will sit on the bench due to an ankle problem.
