NBA, Miami Heat break losing streak but Simone Fontecchio remains on the sidelines

After three consecutive losses, the Miami Heat returned to winning ways in the NBA regular season, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 126-111 at home. Protagonists of the success were Norman Powell, author of 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, Swedish Pelle Larsson, who scored 21 points in just under thirty minutes, and center Ke’el Ware, who signed a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Rest night for Simone Fontecchio, not employed by coach Erik Spoelstra for the first time after ten consecutive appearances.
In the other games of the night shines the star of Jaylen Brown, who with the’eighth consecutive game of at least 30 points (figure touched precisely on the night) drags the Boston Celtics to a 140-122 success over the Indiana Pacers. In the West, on the other hand, the Los Angeles Clippers’ victory at home of the Portland Trail Blazers is noteworthy, with as many as 93 points added up by the trio composed of James Harden (34), Brook Lopez (31 with 9 triples scored, a personal best in the particular statistic) and Kahi Leonard (28).
Continuing, back in the Eastern Conference, the magical moment of the Chicago Bulls, who thanks to the 109-102 outside win against the Philadelphia 76ers conquer their fifth consecutive success, all with the best scorers, Zach Collins and Tre Jones, who do not go beyond 15 points scored. Useless, on the other side, were Joel Embiid’s 31 and Tyrese Maxey’s 27. Fourth win in the last six for the Charlotte Hornets, who overcame the Orlando Magic 120-105 thanks in part to LaMelo Ball’s 22 points.
In the night’s other contests, smiling despite a deficit ranking were the Washington Wizards, 138-117 winners over the Toronto Raptors (23 for Kyshawn George), while the Memphis Grizzlies overcame the Milwaukee Bucks 125-104 with 24 points from Jaren Jackson Jr. Also doing well was Phoenix, which was not surprised by the New Orleans Pelicans: 115-108 for the Arizona franchise, dragged by Devin Booker’s 30 points and Mark Williams’s double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Closing the review of the results of the night between Friday and Saturday was the sprint victory of the Utah Jazz over the Detroit Pistons: in Salt lake City, the protagonists were Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen, authors of 31 and 30 points, respectively, who rendered useless the 29-point, 17-assist and 5-rebound performance of Cade Cunningham.
