MotoGp, Luca Marini satisfied: “We are among the best in the world”
The centaur of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team is satisfied: “We are among the best in the world.”
Mooney VR46 rider Luca Marini, spoke to the team’s official channels after his excellent sixth place finish in the Australian Grand Prix at Philip Island, won by Alex Rins on Suzuki.
The 1997 class concluded a great weekend for the Italian team, which also celebrated the fourth place of Marco Bezzecchi, who was also awarded ‘Rookie of the Year’.
“A different race from all the ones we have faced so far, but a beautiful one! Perfect tire management I would say, throughout the long run, overtaking and counter-overtaking. I really enjoyed it. In the final I lost something, I’m sorry, maybe I could have done better, but in the contacts at the start I lost a lot of time and then I had to recover. We have to be happy: we were attached to the front group all the time, we calculated the best tire life and we continue on this positive trend. We are establishing ourselves as one of the best Teams and among the best riders in the World: I am delighted!” explained the Italian rider, in his second season in MotoGp.
