Luciano Spalletti bowed to Atalanta, which was able to eliminate his Juve from the Coppa Italia: “They were better in the decisive moments of the match, and when the result is a 3-0 it becomes useless to chase situations. Kudos go to Palladino’s team: they are organized, play good soccer and are built with logic. What did Juve lack tonight? In the decisive choices, in the moments when the game gets real, you have to be lucid and quick. We made decisions, but all wrong ones, while they made the right ones”.

It'Atalanta the second team qualified for the semifinals of Coppa Italia.
After Inter, victorious Wednesday night 2-1 in Monza with Torino, the Bergamo Nerazzurri also passed the quarterfinal round, imposing 3-0 on Juventus.
The Bianconeri started with some initiative and in the first half built a couple of dangerous chances, especially with Conceiçao.
The Portuguese was stopped, however, first by Carnesecchi and then by the crossbar.
The key episode came in the 25th minute.
Bremer committed a hand foul in the box, the Var intervened and the referee awarded the penalty kick.
From the penalty spot Scamacca was flawless and in the 27th minute signed the 1-0.
Juventus took the blow and struggled to react, with the first half ending without any other goals.
In the second half Spalletti also inserted former and newly acquired Boga, increasing the pressure in search of the equalizer.
To extinguish Juventus’ hopes, however, Atalanta did so in the 77th minute.

Zappacosta went all the way down the right and put a precise cross to the second post, where Sulemana arrived on time for 2-0.
In the final there was also glory for Pasalic who, who entered just over a minute ago, at the 85th minute kicked the trio with a sharp diagonal right-footed shot that sailed past Perin.
Atalanta thus flew into the semifinals, where they will face the winner of Lazio-Bologna.

“How much should players who play less grow? The level of the game always depends on the whole group: how they train, how they think and reason – added the HCL coach. Every team has flaws, and we have them too, but the important thing is to recognize the key moments of the game, to be more precise and aware. Tonight, if we focus only on episodes, the 3-0 result would distort the overall analysis. Between us, we will discuss everything calmly: the boys made an effort and played a good game.

Spalletti has one regret: “I didn’t like, however, the moment when we disunited: we lost order trying to make up for it in the round, without the logic with which we had managed to create spaces and opportunities anymore. If we had handled some situations better, for example the 1-0 or those 4-5 lost balls, bad choices prevented us from taking advantage of two-on-one or serving the free man. We lacked lucidity in recognizing the right situations and making the decisive choice at the right time”.

Closing on Bremer’s penalty: “It is penalty, because he touches the ball with his hand. But I am interested in other aspects: my job is to help players recognize their real behaviors, preventing small situations from compromising the game”.
