Price too high, Bayern Munich discards grand champion

Among the best talents around in European soccer is surely Luka Vuskovic: the Tottenham talent on loan at Hamburg is doing very well and has attracted the attentions of several top clubs. Bayern Munich is definitely one of the most interested clubs and Vincent Kompany has publicly praised the champion but there&#8217s the big hurdle of price.

According to English media reports, Tottenham is willing to listen to offers for Luka Vuskovic only if they will be over 50 million euros, a price that the Bayern Munich management, while recognizing the great talent of the player, considers excessive. At the moment a big investment in the defense is not in the plans of the Bavarian club, which would like to identify a low-cost reinforcement to invest more in the offensive department.

For the defense one of the candidates is definitely Marcos Senesi, whose contract is expiring with Bournemouth. The English have made him several renewal offers but the Argentine has so far always refused: he wants a change of scenery and there is certainly no shortage of possibilities. Besides Bayern Munich there are also Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Milan on his trail: the opportunity to sign a player of his caliber at zero cost is obviously of great interest to many.

Bayern Munich&#8217s idea is to save on defense in order to place a big hit in attack, perhaps by trying to bring Yan Diomande to Munich. The Leipzig star is among the best in the world in his role and he is clearly very expensive: his valuation exceeds 100 million euros, and Liverpool appears to be leaning toward making a big bid to try to get him. The Reds are not the’only English club on Diomande&#8217s trail, and the price could rise quickly given the huge competition.

Then there will have to buy a center forward as an alternative to Harry Kane but here, too, Bayern Munich wants to go cheap: they like Dusan Vlahovic, who is expected to break free from Juventus in the summer to change teams. Barcelona and Milan are also on his trail, Max Eberl must speed up if he wants to buy the Serbian bomber.
