Eden Hazard was one of the most talented soccer players Belgian soccer has ever had. Over the course of his, albeit short, career, he played with the shirts of Lille, Chelsea and Real Madrid. Born in 1991, at only 32 years old he decided to hang up his boots, mainly because of the many injuries that have affected his entire career. He boasts as many as 126 appearances with the Belgian national team, with also 33 goals to his credit.

His past as a soccer player is a vivid memory in his mind but, by now, Eden Hazard has other things on his mind. He has a family, definitely a large one, to take care of: “My life is pretty simple. I am a father of five children. Right now I’m more of a taxi driver than a soccer player, but that’s okay. I made this decision for my family, children, time and food” his words to The Guardian.

However, there are many memorable memories. Particularly one, related to his brother: “The 2018 World Cup was incredible. I had the opportunity to play with my brother (Thorgan, ed.). To be captain of my national team was amazing. We felt that Belgium was incredible in those years. Although we didn&#8217t win, today people say we were a better team than France, and that makes me proud” his comment.

Life goes by so fast, especially in soccer. Yesterday I was 19 and today I am 35. You have to enjoy it, not only in soccer, but in everything” its a new way of life. By now soccer is no longer his number one priority.
