Buffon: “Never experienced like Parma. Curious about De Rossi.”
Crusaders goalkeeper Buffon: “Strange to see so many of my fellow coaches in B.”
Parma goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon spoke about his future to the microphones of Dazn: “Being a coach when I stop? It doesn’t make me crazy as an idea to date. Maybe I would be more intrigued by the idea of being a coach…. Catching up with so many of my teammates who are now coaching even in Serie B is a bit strange, I’m curious to see De Rossi. Grosso and Inzaghi, on the other hand, have already been worn out by this job for years.”
Buffon has no plans to quit at the moment, however: “I am not afraid to do so, but in Parma I am experiencing a dimension of freedom that I have never experienced in recent years. This feeling is something inescapable for someone who lives soccer as I do. I always continue to set myself real goals that I think I can achieve even in the face of the performance I continue to provide on the field and also outside, in the locker room, for example, but also with the staff, the coach and the people themselves. I think these are values that one has to bring to the table when deciding whether to continue playing or stop.”
