F1, Gunther Steiner still stalls on Mick Schumacher
Gunther Steiner stalls on Mick Schumacher
Gunther Steiner, team principal of Haas, the only team that has yet to confirm its driver lineup for next season, spoke during a press conference in Austin.
The U.S. team manager spoke as follows, “I get a lot of advice from people who think who should deserve the seat, I get these comments all day long and they tell me what I should do. I have to deal with the whole team and figure out if Mick is the one. Obviously Kevin has said what he thinks, and I have to take care of the team for the future. We will get the driver we want, and we think we can move forward in developing the team.”
“Mick has some experience; this is his second year in Formula 1. He has had enough experience to take the team forward, but we need leadership from this position. These are all things we are evaluating. One thing is the most important: how we can take the team forward,” Steiner added.
