Ducati, Alex Crivillé doesn’t hide about Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini
Alex Crivillé returns to the Malaysian race of Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini
Alex Crivillé, a two-time MotoGP champion (125 class in 1989, 500 class ten years later), returned to the MotoGp race in Malaysia speaking to ‘Marca’: the former rider commented, among other things, on the first two finishers, Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, dwelling especially on the latter’s race conduct.
“Bastianini had a good race – Crivillé sentenced – I honestly thought he would remain in second position and would never overtake Bagnaia, who next season will be his partner in the official Ducati team. In the middle of the race, playing clean, he overtook him while at the end of the race, however, his bike skidded a bit and he had some set-up problems: that’s why I think he chose to settle for second place, he didn’t want to get into the battle and he didn’t. He still fought hard without creating any risks for Pecco, who deserved to win.”
