Juventus, Angel Di Maria vents: ‘All lies’
Di Maria denies farewell to Juventus in January
Juventus trequartista Angel Di Maria with a note on Instagram wanted to deny his farewell to Juventus as early as January, after the World Cup and only a few months after his arrival in Turin.
“I don’t know who invented the rumors that I’m leaving in January, my statements that you have read and heard where I say that I’m going to retire to “Rosario Central” (the club I left from) are recent, but they are statements that I have been making since the day I first arrived to play here in Europe in 2007.”
“This does not mean that I want to leave TODAY, nor will I leave in January, please stop making up news, I am very happy at this great club, very happy in this city and when I am fit again, I will give the team the best of me as I always did when I played here and in all the other teams where I have been.”
Di Maria has played very little this early in the season because of injuries: “I love to play soccer, I don’t like to watch games from home, I like to play them, so please don’t believe everything you read because it doesn’t help, it only tarnishes my name and the name of the club.”
