MotoGp, Agostini award born: four overtakes in contention
For the first time, FIM will award the best overtaking of the MotoGp season
The FIM has established the Agostini Fan Award, which will be given to the MotoGp rider responsible for the best overtake of the season in the premier class. The award, named after multiple world champion Giacomo Agostini, will be presented at the end-of-season event after the Valencia Grand Prix.
Four riders and overtakes are in the running: Aleix Espargarò, author of the double overtaking at Assen on Brad Binder and Jack Miller; Fabio Quartararo, who in Austria took Jack Miller by surprise with a great overtaking move at the new chicane; Enea Bastianini for the overtaking move on Pecco Bagnaia at Aragon; and Bagnaia himself for the maneuver in Australia against Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin.
Fans will be able to vote on MotoGp channels, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram.
