Mercedes dominates Saturday’s Chinese Grand Prix, the second round of the Formula One World Championship. On the Shanghai circuit, in fact, George Russell won the Sprint Race ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc, protagonist of a great comeback, and Lewis Hamilton, who got off to a great start but collapsed in the final due to tire degradation. But the smiles did not end there for Mercedes in China: Andrea Kimi Antonelli, in fact, signs the pole position, becoming the youngest driver ever to achieve it in the history of Formula One. At the age of 19 years and 6 months, the Bolognese set the best time (1’32″064), beating teammate Russell, who was the victim of an engine problem, by 222 thousandths. Antonelli brings Italy back to pole position after nearly 17 years: the last Azzurro to make it was Fisichella in 2009. On the second row was a Ferrari one-two with Hamilton ahead of Leclerc by 13 thousandths.
