Cooks and waiters for opponents

At a time when soccer — unfortunately, even amateur soccer — all too often ends up in the black pages of the news for assaults on referees, fights between parents and whatnot, a nice page comes from Villasanta, a town in the province of Monza and Brianza.
Leaders of the local amateur team, Real Villasanta, headed by head chef, President Sersi Marco Palazzi, got to the stove and prepared food for rivals Amatori Club ’94 from San Giovanni in Croce (Cremona). Not only that, the occupants of the green-and-white control room also lent themselves as waiters. The whole thing happened on Sunday, just hours before the start of the match valid for the Arci-Uisp Lombardy Cup.
For the record, the guests won on penalties after regulation time had ended in a pyrotechnic 3-3 tie: in the second half a goal was also scored with a ‘rabona,’ proving that in order to make a classy play it is not mandatory to be overpaid professionals.
