Lorenzo Musetti is ready for Italy’s debut at the 2022 Davis Cup Finals against Croatia in Group A, which also includes Argentina and Sweden.
“We have great ambitions. We want to pass the group first, qualify for the group stage in Spain,” he told SuperTennis. “We must not underestimate anyone, but we are ready.
“Last year they were missing Coric but Gojo had one of his best matches against Lorenzo Sonego. Then in the group is Argentina who have very experienced players and young players who have done very well.”
“I feel good here, the conditions are quite slow and the balls tend to swell a lot. We will have to push all the time, bring out all the energy both individually and as a team.”
