Stefanos Tsitsipas impressed by Luca Nardi’s level

Stefanos Tsitsipas, a Greek tennis player currently ranked sixth in the ATP rankings, took on Italian Luca Nardi in the ATP 500 tournament in Astana. The Greek won the match amidst not a few difficulties and in the post-match praised Luca Nardi’s level of play.

“Nardi is a tennis player who can play and can do very well in the future. I was very impressed with his level, he managed to maintain this level throughout the challenge. He didn’t have any stop moment. He showed an impressive level, it’s really amazing that he was able to maintain this level all this time today,” Tsitsipas said.

Then he added, “I was trying to do my best, I tried to change as much as I could but my opponent made my challenge much more difficult than I had planned. He played a really good match.”
