Sassuolo, sigh of relief for Domenico Berardi
Berardi can smile: no injury
Domenico Berardi had everyone at Sassuolo’s home worried after he returned from injury and was again stopped and forced to leave the field during the last Serie A match between Atalanta and Sassuolo. Instead, checks carried out gave good news.
This is what the Sassuolo statement says: “Regarding Domenico Berardi, the checks and examinations carried out did not show any new muscle injury. The player has already started a specific work program that will be modulated in the coming days based on the progress found.” As stated by Coach Dionisi after the game, fortunately Berardi stopped in time and did not suffer any muscle injury.
Now it remains to be seen if the Azzurri will be back available as early as the next game scheduled against Verona on Monday, October 24 at the “Mapei Stadium,” as the Emilian club has not announced the recovery time. What is certain is that there are no injuries. The Sassuolo captain will do everything to be available again as soon as possible.
