F1: In FP3 Max Verstappen burns Charles Leclerc, who also collects penalty
Engine and turbo change for the Monegasque, who will serve his penalty after official practice
In a free practice session, the last before the official ones, characterized by penalties for several drivers, Max Verstappen got the best time of 1:35.825, burning in the last attempt Charles Leclerc, who had improved by making the chronometer stop on 1’36″145. Speaking of the Monegasque, due to the change of the endothermic engine and turbocharger, the driver of the Rossa will have to serve a penalty of 10 positions on the starting grid, which of course will be determined by the outcome of the official tests.
The other drivers who will be relegated to the grid are Sergio Perez, Guanyu Zhou and Fernando Alonso, all of whom will be penalized 5 positions. Tormando to Austin’s FP3, third was Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari, fifth Lewis Hamilton and sixth an excellent Fernando Alonso.
