MotoGp Valentino Rossi: Yamaha tries them all
Yamaha in contact with Valentino Rossi’s team for the future
The VR46 team despite ritual denials remains in Yamaha’s sights. It is no secret that the Japanese stable’s CEO Lin Jarvis wants Valentino Rossi’s team as a satellite team from 2024, despite the fact that the three-year contract with Ducati ends at the end of that year.
Yamaha continues to court the VR46 team and behind the scenes has already lined up contacts, “It would be the logical evolution,” Jarvis explained to Gazzetta dello Sport, “but it’s up to us to prove that the bike will be competitive.
From 2023 Yamaha is expected to have a more powerful powertrain, a move that would make Valentino Rossi and his collaborators jealous: “Our tests say there will be progress. I think we will have a good progression thanks to Luca Marmorini’s help, but surely rivals will not be watching either.”
