Ducati holds on to Pecco Bagnaia
The future of Pecco Bagnaia
The day after his rainbow triumph, Davide Tardozzi returned to Sky Sports to talk about Pecco Bagnaia’s future. “We believe and hope that he will go a long way with us and also with a few more titles.”
“Pecco gave us an important and strategic indication on the last day of testing in Mandalika in February, before the start of the World Championship. He was instrumental in our growth. He deserves credit for that and Ducati for turning the bike around in a very short time, following his indications.”
Ducati will be the bike to beat in 2023 as well, and in Borgo Panigale it is OK to dream: “Absolutely, but let’s not underestimate our opponents. Honda has a champion like Marc Marquez and will do everything to improve, Ktm has shown important growth as well as Yamaha and Aprilia has been a protagonist this year.”
