Franco Morbidelli denies farewell to MotoGp
Yamaha centaur Morbidelli is coming off a disastrous season but does not want to throw in the towel
Franco Morbidelli to the microphones of Motorsport strongly denied the possibility of his farewell to Yamaha and MotoGp: “I am 27 years old and I have lived through far more difficult situations in my life. This is not the time to throw in the towel, I never gave up on anything I started until I got there.”
Since his return after leg surgery, the Italobrazilian driver has not been himself, his 2022 has been disastrous: “I still feel young and with a huge fire inside me. It is not true that I have thought about quitting. I always stay focused and don’t waste energy thinking about what’s going on outside, which can make it look like I’m lost, but I’m not, I’ve always been focused on what I want to do. The knee? It hasn’t affected me.”
Morbidelli still feels confidence from Yamaha: “It’s something I really appreciated and it allowed me to continue to work hard and push as hard as I can.”
