Sebastian Vettel outlines the Formula 1 of the future
Four-time world champion charts the future of F1
Sebastian Vettel retired a few weeks ago, ending a legendary career in which the German won four Formula 1 world titles, all four with Red Bull.
The now former Aston Martin driver, in the words reported by ‘FormulaPassion,’ identified what solutions would be beneficial for the Formula 1 of the future: “From the point of view of the cars, I would make them much lighter. I think this brings a lot of joy to the drivers. It will be more physical and tiring driving, of course, but also more fun. And then by definition, if the cars are lighter, they will have less problems with the tires.”
“In general, I would say Formula 1 needs more transparency. I think the world is opening up and the sport needs to do the same. F1 should be more transparent, more credible with all the projects it says it will follow in the future,” Vettel concluded.
