Cristiano Ronaldo vents: ‘Pain and uncertainty’
The Portuguese striker has yet to decide where he will play from January
Cristiano Ronaldo is living one of the most complicated moments of his career. After the painful elimination from the World Cup in Qatar, and the exclusions decided by Portugal coach Fernando Santos, CR7 must now decide where he will play from January.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is currently without a team, he has offers from Saudi Arabia and the United States but he would like to stay in Europe to play in the Champions League. Old Continent clubs are hesitant, however, given the player’s hefty salary, and at the moment CR7’s future is stalled.
In stories on Instagram, the Lusitanian star posted a photo with an eloquent caption, “Three aspects of reality: pain, uncertainty and constant work.”
Meanwhile, according to rumors, Ronaldo will not leave the national team: he wants to stay at least until 2024, when he will turn 39.
