Milan, Bakayoko’s agent goes down flat
Bakayoko’s agent is disappointed with his client’s situation
Marco Busiello, the intermediary who brought, on the eve of the 2021/22 season, Tiemoué Bakayoko back to AC Milan (again on loan from Chelsea, as happened in the 2018/19 season), did not hide his disappointment with the midfielder’s so far marginal role in Stefano Pioli’s technical project: last year the Frenchman collected 18 total appearances, this season he has not yet seen the field instead.
“It is a situation that creates sadness for me,” Busiello told ‘TMW’, “because a year and a half ago this transfer was strongly desired. The idea of returning to Milan on a two-year loan, with a right of redemption that would become an obligation under certain conditions, excited him. The current status quo, however, is not good for anyone and it is something that is regrettable.”
No problems, however, with the management: “We will evaluate with Milan future opportunities, with due calm. We will also discuss with Chelsea and look around.”
