Jorge Aspar Martinez, a three-time world champion in the 80 class and one in 125, spoke about Marc Marquez to Dazn Spain.
“If Honda doesn’t take a step forward, he won’t be able to work miracles. After the injury he continued to take risks and have many crashes. He is not young anymore and he just came back from an injury and I was surprised that he took so many risks this year. Marquez has always gone fast with the bike they put him on. The technical aspect of knowing how to improve a bike is probably not in his wheelhouse,” he noted.
“Honda is number one in the world, but they need to find a top-level test rider to develop the bike better in the winter,” he added.
