Gervinho plays for Aris Thessaloniki

After experiences in Turkey with Trabzonspor and in Greece with Aris Thessaloniki, where he currently plays, Gervinho could make a return to Serie A. The Ivorian striker, previously seen in Italy under the colors of Roma from 2013 to 2016 and Parma 2018 to 2021, is in fact finding little space in the Turkish Super League 1 league.

In fact, the African player would be the latest target of Cremonese, which is looking for reinforcements on the market to allow the newly arrived Davide Ballardini to fight for salvation, which at the moment looks very difficult.

However, after the Coppa Italia feat against Napoli, where the Lombardy side overcame Luciano Spalletti’s men in the round of 16, the Grigiorosso environment is certainly more relaxed, and the start of the journey with the new coach could give the necessary sap to not lose hope. Gervinho would suit the Lombardi, who could have an extra weapon to unhinge opposing defenses, especially thanks to the Ivorian’s speed.
