Martin Brundle expands the new Formula 1 even further
Martin Brundle’s words
The current Formula 1 is a tight fit for Martin Brundle.
The former driver, now a commentator on Sky Sports F1, has his say on the future of the circus: “The entry of other teams is a logistical issue as well as a financial one. Personally, I don’t think the show is enough, and I think there may be an opportunity. What I find most interesting is that all the global automakers are totally focused on electric vehicles. Yet, if you look at Ford’s announcement, you appreciate the idea of technology, sustainability and sustainable fuels.”
It was Sebastian Vettel who was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Dutchman Max Verstappen, with the son of art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
