Vakifbank Instanbul-Igor Gorgonzola Novara postponed

Igor Gorgonzola Novara has announced that the match scheduled for Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Istanbul, valid for the final day of Pool C of the Champions League, is currently postponed until a date to be determined.

As a result of the tragic earthquake that struck the far east of Turkey and neighboring countries, the local government has in fact suspended all sports competitions on Turkish soil, both national and international.

The CEV, the European volleyball confederation, has therefore notified the clubs involved that all European cup competitions scheduled in Turkey this week will not be played.

Discussions with the Vakifbank Istanbul club and the European confederation will continue in the coming hours to reschedule the match, also depending on what the Turkish government’s decisions will be.
