NBA, all “Italian” derby smiles on Simone Fontecchio

For Orlando this is the 40th defeat of the season

There was great anticipation, at least in Italy, for the NBA regular season showdown between Orlando and Utah. It was especially interesting because of the comparison between Fontecchio, an Italian national team player, and Banchero, a potential Italian national team player.

The success went to Utah (131-124, 31 points by Markkanen, the best scorer of the match) with Fontecchio author of 17 points in 22′ of play. However, on the other side, Banchero did his thing, closing the game with an impressive 26 points in 34′ on the court (8/17 from the field for the first pick of the last NBA Draft). For Orlando, the record is getting worse and worse: 27-40. Utah, on the other hand, continues to flirt with 50 percent (32-35 at the moment).
