Federica Brignone sounds the charge
Federica Brignone ready for final weekend of CdM
Federica Brignone, on the sidelines of Tuesday’s downhill practice in Soldeu, in which she recorded the ninth time (2″12 slower than the best time of the day, that of Nina Ortlieb), described her feelings to the official Fisi channels, expressing optimism for the last weekend of the 2022/23 World Cup.
“Yesterday was too spring-like,” said the Valle d’Aosta native, “today was hard, beautiful, and we did many races in these conditions. It was a test a little bit affected by the wind. It’s a fun downhill, there are some very interesting passages. For me all these races are important, I hope I can make a great final and show what I can do in all disciplines. From January on it’s been all about growing in form and it’s really nice when you can do what you set your mind to.”
