PSG, Lionel Messi increasingly intrigued by MLS
Pulce’s contract with the Parisians expires on June 30, 2023
As soon as he won the World Cup, his renewal with PSG seemed certain. Instead, also complicit in the bitter elimination from the Champions League, now thinking that the Pulce could stay another year in Paris is difficult. The Parisian club is aiming for a revolution and Messi would not be part of the new cycle, mainly because of age and cost issues.
In short, Messi, next year, will play elsewhere. But where? A return to Barcelona seems very complicated. Too many obstacles, especially economic ones. Hence the real possibility that he could migrate to the United States. The MLS would welcome him as a deity. The Messi family has a home in Florida and, mind you, Inter Miami is ready to do anything to accommodate him, even give him an assured future once he stops playing.
