Conegliano makes comeback and wins fifth straight Scudetto

Conegliano, once again, boasts the title of Italian women’s volleyball champion. At Palaverde, in front of more than 5,000 spectators, the Venetian women remounted Vero Volley, who struggled to the uittimate ball.

3-1 the final for the hosts, who suffer a lot at the beginning of the first set (5-11) and have to surrender the partial to the Lombardy (23-25). The guests also start strong in the second fraction but jam after taking the lead: 26-24 for the Venetians. The third and fourth sets are a symphony of Conegliano, which closes the partials 25-17 and 25-21, respectively.
