Carmine Nunziata’s Italy is in the semifinals of the Under-20 World Cup. In the quarterfinal played tonight at the San Juan del Bicentenario Stadium in San Juan, Argentina, the Azzurrini beat Colombia’s peer team 3-1: goals by Casadei in the 9th minute, Baldanzi in the 38th minute, Esposito in the 46th minute and Torres in the 49th minute.
In the semifinals Italy will face the winner between South Korea and Nigeria, while on the other side of the scoreboard Israel beat Brazil 3-2 in a comeback in extra time after the regulation time ended 1-1 and now awaits the winner of the United States-Uruguay.
