Olimpia Milano goes back ahead in the LBA playoff final against Virtus Bologna (3-2). The meneghini overcame the felsinei 79-72 thanks to a super performance of Shavon Shields, author of 22 points.
The coach of the Red Shoes, Ettore Messina commented on the success over the Bianconeri as follows, “Important and very sweaty victory. Good contribution from the bench. Important the rebounds. The two teams are playing at a very high level … we have more patience on offense and the idea was to have a bigger quintet to not suffer too much. Shields is playing a great series.”
Now the red-and-whites will have their first playoff match point on Wednesday at Segafredo Arena.
