Ducati, Paolo Ciabatti is confident about Pecco Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi
Ducati, Paolo Ciabatti has clear ideas about Pecco Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi
A few days after the Assen weekend that saw Pecco Bagnaia and Marco Bezzecchi as the main protagonists, Ducati’s sport director Paolo Ciabatti has spoken bluntly about the chances that the rainbow fight could sour the relationship that exists between the two centaurs who grew up in Valentino Rossi’s Academy.
“They are two very different characters. Bezzecchi is the typical Romagnolo, while Bagnaia is a little less expansive and funny. They have known each other for years, they trained together at the Ranch. The important thing is that they are two friends who do not give each other discounts on the track, but without being unfair,” the sports director told “GPOne” microphones.
“Knowing each other for so many years and having come from the minor categories, where they have faced several difficulties, I doubt that the rainbow fight will change their relationship. I think they will be very tough rivals, but always fair,” concluded Paolo Ciabatti.
