F1: Aston Martin appeal changes Austrian Grand Prix standings

It changes the finishing order of the Austrian Grand Prix. The FIA upheld Aston Martin’s protest about the failure to penalize some drivers for track limits during the course of the race and then conducted a review of the list of cancelled lap times, ruling that some of those violations were deserving of a penalty, which had previously not been applied under the provisional ranking.

As many as eight drivers were affected, including Ferrarista Sainz, who was penalized 10 seconds and lost two places, dropping from fourth to sixth, and Lewis Hamilton, who suffered the same penalty and lost one place in the standings, slipping to eighth.
