F1, Charles Leclerc lists Ferrari’s problems
Charles Leclerc dejected on the sidelines of the race
From fourth place on the grid to ninth place overall, through a strategy that proved ineffective and a race without high notes, finished not only behind this season’s main rivals, but also behind Alexander Albon’s Williams. A Sunday to forget, in short, for Charles Leclerc, who does not hide his disappointment in his speech to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’.
“In the first stint the tires were not bad, the degradation was contained, however, then we completely lacked pace. We had little traction coming out of fast corners, we were losing a lot compared to who we had behind,” said the Monegasque, listing the Rossa’s problems.
“The strategy? We went in earlier than planned to try to stay ahead of Russell, then we were also a bit unlucky with the Safety Car. At the end I had Albon in front, but we all had DRS open, so we couldn’t catch up.”
