Inter overturns PSG in two minutes in Tokyo
Inter-PSG 2-1
Simone Inzaghi’s Inter’s Japan tour ends with a victory. In fact, in Tokyo, the Nerazzurri had the luxury of defeating former Skriniar’s PSG 2-1 in a comeback, thanks to goals by Sebastiano Esposito and Stefano Sensi. Vitinha scored the goal for the Parisians.
In the first half it was the Parisians who were the most dangerous: at 8 Asensio engaged Stankovic with a first-time turn on a corner kick that found the Inter goalkeeper alert. Five minutes later it was the same Spanish fantasist who came close to taking the lead with a fine left-footed shot from inside the box that hit the post. At the other end the Nerazzurri never made themselves dangerous and we go to halftime at 0-0.
It all happens in the second half: in the 64th minute Lautaro loses the ball, PSG restarts on the counterattack and serves Vitinha, who finds a great goal with a nice shot from the distance. Inzaghi decides to change and inserts Asllani, De Vrij, Bisseck, Esposito and Sensi. It is precisely the newcomers who pack the comeback: in the 81st minute Asllani launches Frattesi vertically, who spreads to the right for Esposito, who pierces Donnarumma with a diagonal shot. A minute later Correa imbues for Frattesi, who puts in the center for the incoming Sensi who beats the Azzurri goalkeeper again.
Inter greeted Japan with a win and will return to the pitch on Aug. 9 against Salzburg, the last test before the start of the championship.
