Slalomgancers kick off blue teams’ departures for South America

“Thirteen giant slalom and slalom specialists have been summoned by technical director Massimo Carca for the meeting on the Argentine snows of Ushuaia.

Part of the team consisting of Tobias Kastlunger, Tommaso Sala, Alex Vinatzer, Giovanni Borsotti and Luca De Aliprandini will depart for South America on Friday, August 18, and return to Italy on Friday, September 15.

Joining them will be senators Stefano Gross and Giuliano Razzoli, but they will conclude the gathering on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The technical staff will consist of resposnable coach Simone Del Dio and coaches Peter Fill, Stefano Costazza and Fabio Bianco Dolino.

Also scheduled for Friday, August 18, is the departure of another part of the team, consisting of Corrado Barbera, Matteo Canins, Simon Maurberger, Filippo Della Vite, Giovanni Franzoni and Hannes Zingerle, accompanied by coaches Ivan Imberti and Davide Marchetti, whose return, however, is set for Sunday, September 17.”
