Nicolò Bulega in Superbike
Great news for Nicolò Bulega. The Emilian will runà in Superbike in the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team in which he will find the Spanish world champion Alvaro Bautista.
The Emilian rider è was the first to be signed for Ducati’s return to World Supersport which took place in 2022 after a good 15 years. Bulega left the MotoGP paddock after competing 50 races in Moto3, earning two podiums and two pole positions, not to mention three seasons in Moto2. Previously, the 23-year-old had also raced in the Junior FIM CEV Moto3 (now JuniorGP) World Championship, winning in Jerez and taking the title in 2015.
One of the best moments è undoubtedly coincided with 2022 in the WorldSSP. Eight podiums in 15 races for the Emilian who per’ed; on the podium only once in the last nine Rounds and thus finished fourth in the standings with nine podiums in all.
In 2023 he scored a double win at Phillip Island. Four wins in the next five races for Bulega, who now sees Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) as his main threat. A one-two at Donington Park allowed him to stretch his lead in the standings even though Manzi è got closer with the two wins he took at Imola.
Bulega obviously è excited about the dream adventure that awaits him in 2024: “I want to be honest: this è a dream come true. Racing for an official team è the desire of every driver. Therefore, before I talk about my emotions and expectations, I want to thank Ducati and Aruba.it Racing. And I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity è that was given to me already last season by Aruba.it and Feel Racing and especially by Stefano Cecconi, Serafino Foti and Daniele Casolari. They chose me to ride a fantastic Ducati Panigale V2, on which I felt immediately comfortable. I know how important this opportunity is and I will always give my best to improve myself, day after day, with the only goal of getting the best possible results. I say it again: thank you for the trust. Thinking about the history of this Team where great champions have always raced, I feel proud to be able to defend the same colors. I am also very happy to be able to share the box with Alvaro Bautista. Having him as a teammate will beà a big stimulus: I will tryò to absorb every information to be able to learn from him".
