Gianluca Galassi, central of MINT Vero Volley Monza, spoke to Sportal.it on the occasion of the big day of celebration that involved the whole Consortium, starting with the almost 1,000 boys of the youth sector: "I am fine, I am not 100% obviously becauseé è it has been a very long summer, which started in spring and continued until autumn. I was able to have a week off to take some time off. The pre-Olympic tournament è was tough, especially mentally. When you lose then you seem to feel even more fatigue but now I am ready".

" I found a team of great workers. This year two bigs could kill the championship but from third or fourth onwards there's room for everyone, as è already happened last season. We have to aim for the playoffs and then at that point try to get as far ahead as possible. We nationals are tired but the race rhythm is not lacking. We will also have to work well on loads but è a common problem for all teams. We have to grit our teeth for the first round and avoid missing the Final Eight of the Italian Cup again. I am happy to be a symbol of this team but I want to confirm it and continue to do well. I still have room for improvement but I have to help the newcomers to create a united group".

Closing remark on Paola Egonu: "She has brought an even bigger bullseye on our reality" but I think it is something positive that will bring" up the whole Consortium. We have different goals from the women’s team but è it’s nice to see them fighting to excel. Few companiesà can say they have two lineups at such aì high level".
