Palermo takes back Spezia at last gasp
Palermo-Spezia 2-2
The tenth day of Serie B ends with an incredible comeback draw by Palermo, which reeled Spezia back from 0-2 to 2-2 with a goal as time expired.
The Bianconeri go ahead at the first useful opportunity with a great shot from the edge of the area by Reca on which Pigliacelli canò nothing. The Rosaneros go close to goal with Brunori and Di Francesco but Dragowski saves the guests.
In the resumption, at 70’ comes the doubling of the spezzini with Francesco Esposito, who only has to deposit in the net the perfect assist of Zurkowski. The reaction of the hosts è immediate, halving the disadvantage with Mancuso who pierced Dragowski. At 104' the referee concedes a penalty to Palermo but after Var review takes it away, granting a free kick from the limit: on the ball goes Stulac who draws an impregnable parabola making the Barbera explode.
Palermo rises to 20 points and remains in third place in the standings, while Spezia rises to 7, on a par with Sampdoria, 16th.
