Cagliari, new stop for Nahitan Nandez
There's no peace for Nahitan Nandez. The Cagliari midfielder, who recently returned from a left thigh flexor injury that had kept him away from the field for more than a month, suffered a relapse and stopped again, just before the last round of the championship against Empoli.
The Uruguayan footballer è underwent instrumental examinations, which showed a low-grade gracilis injury of the left thigh. Recovery time has not been defined, but since it is an injury è it is likely that coach Ranieri will have to give up Nandez for at least three weeks.
The Rossoblù captain will definitely miss the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia against AC Milan, scheduled for Tuesday night at the San Siro, and presumably the league challenges against Bologna and Lecce. The goal for Nandez è is to recover for the away match against Frosinone, scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 21, at 12:30 p.m.
