Ante Zizic, first words as a Virtus Bologna player

In the aftermath of the comeback success against Bayern Munich in the Euroleague, Ante Zizic, speaking on the Virtus Segafredo Bologna Podcast, made his first statements as a Virtus Bologna player, dwelling on the motivations and goals that led the Croatian center to this decision.

"Before signing for Virtus I had already been to Bologna three other times. I played against Virtus in the Euroleague twice and when I was a boy I participated in a youth tournament here. I don’t know the city very well because I always stopped for a few hours to play, but I know Virtus very well, in a historical club from which great names have passed. I am really happy to play in this team and the support of the fans" debuted the Croatian center.

"The process è lasted overnight, I learned about it a few hours before signing the contract. I had a match on December 30, and soon after that I talked to my agent about this opportunity. The last few days for me have been very busy. I am very happy to be part of this team and this company; and I will try to integrate myself as best I can in a group of guys with unique characteristics, with a lot of talent and experience. The goal è to try to go all the way in all competitions" added the former Cleveland Cavaliers player.

I was very impressed, the fans were great, when you have this kind of fans è like having 6 players on the court, cheering you on and giving you so much energy. I am very happy to play in a team with such amazing fans like Virtus" Ante Zizic commented.
