Mauro Icardi, Galatasaray says no to Inter and Real
Mauro Icardi, the future
According to the Fotomac portal, Mauro Icardi will remain at Galatasaray until the end of the season, as the Turkish club has decided to reject any offer for the striker. There will be no transfer until June and, for the time being, Maurito will remain safe at the Gala.
Despite recent rumors that he has been linked to Real Madrid and Inter Milan on social media, there seems to be no possibility of his transfer in this winter market session. This was after reports that he was on a six-month loan at Real with a record 8 million euro salary. However, nothing extraordinary will happen and Icardi will remain at Galatasaray.
Despite the pressure they received, the Turkish club officials decided not to sell the striker, given his brilliant performance. Indeed, Icardi has collected 17 goals and 6 assists in only 27 matches, between league and cups, proving himself as one of the best in the team. The Gala has therefore decided to strongly retain Maurito, putting off any discussion of possible disposals until June. There is no doubt that, with his contract expiring in 2026, Icardi will be one of the most interesting pieces of the summer market. He could even make a grand return to Serie A.
