Sofia Goggia spoke to the official channels of Fisi on the eve of the sixth women’s giant slalom of the World Cup season on the Kranjska Gora slope, scheduled for Saturday, January 6 (first run at 09:30, second at 12:30 with live TV coverage on Raisport and Eurosport). The skier from Bergamo will be one of the nine Italian women skiers at the start of the race in Slovenia.

"I start for the first time after a long time in the fifteen, I would be sixteenth but with the withdrawal of Tessa Worley I climbed one position – emphasized the Italian skier -. I think it is the natural continuation of the path undertaken for some time, I expected this growth but above all it was essential for me to give continuity to this path, which allows me to keep up the competitivenessà in the fast disciplines".

"The next two and a half months will be very important for me becauseè there will be many races suitable for me, in the last few days I have been training in Ponte Di Legno, on the slopes where I trained before joining the national team, where I was able to do super-giant, for this reason I preferred not to train with my companions in Tarvisio, who were doing giant" concluded Goggia.
