Milan-Atalanta, the probable formations

Milan and Atalanta face each other in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the San Siro. The Rossoneri earned access to the quarterfinals thanks to a clear home win against Cagliari (4-1), while the Nerazzurri overcame Sassuolo 3-1 in the round of 16. Whoever wins flies to the semifinals where they will face Fiorentina, who è imposed on Bologna 5-4 after penalty kicks.

Pioli seems intent on confirming Theo Hernandez in the center of defense, paired with newcomer Gabbia, trusting Jimenez on the left lane with Calabria on the opposite one. In midfield there will still be Loftus-Cheek and Reijnders, in attack space for Jovic, with Pulisic and Leao on his sides.

Gasperini can launch Hien from 1' in defense, replacing the ailing Kolasinac. Zappacosta returns on the right flank, with Ruggeri on the left, while the midfield dam will be formed by the De Roon-Ederson pair. In attack, Scamacca paws for a starting shirt, paired with Miranchuk, with Koopmeiners in support in the three-quarter.

Probable lineups

ATALANTA (3-4-1-2): Carnesecchi; Scalvini, Djimsiti, Hien; Zappacosta, De Roon, Ederson, Ruggeri; Koopmeiners; Scamacca, Miranchuk. All. Gasperini
