Sofia Goggia doesn’t sing victory

Sofia Goggia è returned to success in the downhill in Altenmarkt, for the first time in her career, after her fall in Friday’s super-G. "I am happy to have won – stressed the Bergamasque to the official Fisi channels -, on this slope I have non-podium statistics, I have many falls… The night è was difficult. The fall in yesterday’s super-G was not è great, but it marked me a lot".

The blue però does not want to sing victory: "Today I managed to do my part in the top and in the forest I managed to ski well, without even using all my horses. The downhill bib è confirmed, but the girls behind me are close and everything è very open. Tomorrow there will beè a new battle".

Nicol Delago commented on her podium this way: "It è has not been an easy period for me, it has been four years since I made the last podium and now I am back, and my legs are shaking. I think the path I took is the right one, and I think my sister will come back too. For me this podium has great meaning. I want to dedicate it to everyone who has been close to me, becauseé it&eas never a given".

Only 14th Federica Brignoe: "I made a little mistake’ everything. I started making mistakes from the fourth corner and then I continued. I said this morning that I shouldn’t overdo it, but instead è just the mistake I made: I wanted too much and threw the race away. It makes me angry becauseé I am skiing well in speed; and instead today I took too wide a gap".
