Olympia Milano in Pesaro

Olimpia Milano è immediately took to Pesaro for the second day of the second round of the Italian championship. The moment è particular for both teams: Pesaro, which won the first game expressing its best potential, has changed coach, bringing back to Serie A, Meo Sacchetti; in the week it signed wing Willie McDuffie, who però will not be usable and compared to the Milan game will also have Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius and former Olimpia captain Andrea Cinciarini.

For Olimpia, the first problem as usual è recovering physical and nervous energy, concentration after a tough game in Valencia in which it showed its best face for 26 minutes and its least beautiful face in the last 14 (actually’not even in all of them because’after the 0-13 at the end of the third quarter, it had still managed to put its head back ahead and come to the final four minutes in parity).

"We face a team that, given also the recent change in technical leadership, will be ready to play an aggressive game with great pace. The work on the pick and roll, starting with their small Cinciarini, Bamforth and Tambone, along with’aggressivenessà against Totè will be the key to play a good game", the words on the eve of coach Fioretti.
