Napoli, Piotr Zielinski plays against his future
The Pole has many suitors and a contract expiring in June
Class of 1994, Zielinski is playing his eighth season in the Napoli shirt. Barring any final twists and turns, it will be his last year in the Azzurri. His contract is set to expire in June and, despite many attempts, the renewal never came, so much so that, by now, people are only trying to figure out which club will have the strong Polish midfielder on their roster next season.
At the moment, everything suggests that Zielinski, as a zero-parameter, will sign with Inter. Curiously, Napoli's opponent in the Supercoppa Italiana final scheduled for tonight. The Pole is expected to start from the bench but, as the game goes on, he should get a chance to play. Thus, he could challenge the club that should become his next home.
In reality, Zielinski has many other suitors. Saudi Arabia is pushing for him but, at the moment, it does not seem a viable route (he has already turned down a financially significant proposal). Juventus would be thinking about it, as would several foreign clubs. Meanwhile, però, Zielinski will doà everything to try to bring home the Italian Super Cup as a Napoli player.
